We Stand 4 Peace

Without justice there can be no peace. Where unity is absent there can be no strength. We Stand 4 Peace is designed to support activities geared towards creating the necessary conditions for collective security within African (i.e., Melanated-Indigenous) communities throughout the world.

Specifically, We Stand 4 Peace serves the African Diaspora by providing access to self-defense training and development resources that promote the wellbeing of women, children, and seniors in our community. It is absolutely necessary that we secure and solidify ourselves in the process of developing ourselves socially and economically.

Our programs place an emphasis upon equipping women, children, and seniors with the confidence and ability to defend themselves and each other. Moreover, We Stand 4 Peace offers black men the opportunity to serve their communities with distinction as providers and protectors.

We Stand 4 Peace is a global campaign that is primarily concerned with exposing and eliminating every internal and external impediment to African liberation. Consequently, those who prefer to live in chaos are kindly encouraged to leave us in peace....

We Stand 4 Peace is designed to support activities geared towards creating the necessary conditions for collective security within African (i.e., Melanated-Indigenous) communities throughout the world. Moreover, this focus is very much in keeping with The Self-Knowledge Academy's larger mission of systematically eliminating ignorance, poverty, and racism.

social organization & collective security

There is a distinct correlation between the quality of dynamic relationships inside of a given geographical space, and the ability of people within said space to enjoy peace and prosperity. Furthermore, every member of the community is responsible for the health and well-being of all other members of the group. We support African-centered structures that enhance black people's capacity to function independently.

supporting women & girls

No community can reach its full potential without investing in women and girls. Accordingly, much of our work has to do with improving opportunities for our sisters to maximize their gifts. We are committed to doing absolutely everything in our power to establishing authentic, caring, and safe environments in which the collective rises together!

honoring our seniors

Our seniors are the most valuable resource that we have, and we are determined to be there for them as they have been there for us. Serving as our primary connection to the past, the generation that considered us beautiful enough to resist oppression, fighting battles instrumental in producing a brighter future for themselves and their descendants, our seniors have earned all of the dignity, love, and respect in the world.

community policing

We have a vested interest in the individuals charged with serving and protecting in our communities. Therefore, it is our objective to change the cultural and/or racial complexion of law enforcement in the African American community, and recruit a new cadre of competent and compassionate justice professionals instead. Ultimately, we affirm our right to self-determination, and we welcome allies who recognize the significance of this aspiration.
